Krypton (Kr) is a colorless, odorless, tasteless noble gas that occurs in trace amounts in the atmosphere.
It is often used with other rare gases in fluorescent lamps.
Krypton is chemically inert. Neon is colorless gas exhibiting an orange-red glow when placed in an electric field.

Where is it used ?
Krypton is used in various applications. Here are some examples.
Window Insulation
Used to improve the insulation in double-glazed windows.
Lighting
Used in various parts in lighting as a strong white light source. Such as fluorescent lamps, airport runway lights, lasers for laser shows etc.
Semiconductor
Used to produce high-end flash memories at lower cost. It is added to plasma processes to increase sputtering.
