It is about two-thirds the density of air.

Where is it used ?
Neon is used in various applications. Here are some examples.
Lighting
Used in signs and produces an unmistakable bright reddish-orange light when electric current passes through it under low pressure.
Semiconductor
Used as the main component of excimer laser gas used in semiconductor photolithography.
